Cruel price of Wesak freedom

Came across this article in the New Straits Times today. Well said Bhante! I think it is about time a Buddhist leader steps up and make clear decisions and steps on things that affects us. In appreciation of the teachings of paticca-samupada, this is a good move to begin educating that what we do affects others and our environment.

For a temple like the Buddhist Maha Vihara, recognized as an institution in Malaysiam, can truly affect changes if it decides to. I personally feel, Bhante can do more to make change happen.  I think it is a start, I hope this will be a start for greater change to come.

Have Blessed Wesak!
